It’s 2017, having a killer portfolio isn’t going to cut it anymore. With the ubiquity of Squarespace and WYSIWYG websites, everyone has a great looking website and a wonderfully thought out user interface.
The question is, how do you stand out? One sure fire way is to have a consistent and killer marketing plan – starting in the beginning of the year, we plan out how and what we’ll use for our marketing efforts. A careful and strategic collaboration of mailers, cold calling, email promotions and personal projects make up the core of our strategy. We are well aware that marketing is one of the ‘un-fun’ portions of being a photographer, but, without it, your phenomenal work could go unnoticed.
