D+S Critiques Denver’s Bacon Social House

Bacon Social House

The D+S Restaurant Review Crew, from Souders Studios food and beverage photography team, went to Bacon Social House for a February evening.  The BSH is at 2434 West 44th Ave, Denver, CO  80211 in the Sunnyside neighborhood.

Ambiance – It is tucked back off the street with a very urban vibe and an open bar to the patio for Summer social hours.  The inside is modern and urban. It is an inviting space with ample seating.

Sound:  Moderate noise level at times but very manageable.

Must Try Eats: We tried the bacon flight which was fun and tasty.  The parsnip gnocchi was good as well as the bacon mac & cheese.  The pork tenderloin with bacon, butternut puree, brussels, honey poached cranberries and a pork demi glaze was delicious.  The plates are fun.  The menu is very creative and boasts a breakfast-at-night selection. Nice solid palette presentations.  You can share or order your own entrees.

Must Try Sips:  Our favorites were the BSH spicy margarita with habanero and the BSH Old Fashioned with their own bacon-infused bourbon.

Service:  Service was pretty good and the place has a happy vibe.

Noteworthy Quirks:  It is tucked down a walkway so don’t expect to see it from the street.

Chefs Owners: BSH is the brainchild of David Dill with Executive Chef Brian Crow.
